Remote Software Developer – AI Platform Contractor

About the role

We are hiring a remote Software Developer on a contract basis to design, build, and optimise software components that power AI model training and evaluation. No prior AI experience is required; strong software engineering expertise and the ability to work independently are essential.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software components for AI model training and evaluation workflows.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to deliver high‑quality, maintainable code aligned with project goals.
• Translate technical requirements into efficient, scalable solutions.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and provide actionable feedback.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex software issues throughout the development lifecycle.
• Document code, processes, and methodologies to ensure transparency and team collaboration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment while communicating clearly with cross‑functional teams.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and experience developing performance‑focused software systems.
