Remote Software Developer – AI Platform

About the role

We are seeking a remote Software Developer to join a client’s AI platform team on a contract basis. You will design, build, and optimise software components that power the training and evaluation of next‑generation AI models across diverse domains such as finance, healthcare, and engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software for AI model training and evaluation workflows.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to deliver high‑quality, maintainable code.
• Translate technical requirements into efficient, scalable solutions.
• Perform code reviews, provide feedback, and uphold best‑practice standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex software issues throughout the development lifecycle.
• Document code, processes, and methodologies to ensure transparency and team collaboration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience developing and optimising scalable software systems.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to work independently in a remote setting.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.

Required skills

• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Java, C++, or Go.
• Experience with version control systems, especially Git.
• Familiarity with software testing and documentation practices.
