Remote Software Developer – AI Platform

About the role

We are seeking a remote Software Developer on a contract basis to design, build, and optimise core components for AI model training and evaluation. No prior AI experience is required; strong software engineering skills and domain knowledge are the key drivers of success.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software components for AI workflows.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to deliver high‑quality, maintainable code.
• Translate technical requirements into efficient, scalable solutions.
• Perform thorough code reviews and provide actionable feedback.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex software issues throughout the development lifecycle.
• Document code, processes, and methodologies to ensure transparency and team collaboration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, C++, or Go.
• Experience building and optimising scalable software systems with a focus on performance and reliability.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to work independently in a remote environment.
• Familiarity with software development best practices, including version control, testing, and documentation.
