Remote Software Engineer – E‑Commerce

About the role

We are looking for a remote Software Engineer to join an e‑commerce focused team. You will build and maintain high‑performance backend services that power real‑time user experiences for millions of customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services in distributed systems.
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code following best practices.
• Profile, debug, and optimise system performance and algorithms.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions and technical design sessions.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and fellow engineers to ship features.

Required profile

• New‑grad or early‑career professional with a strong foundation in software engineering.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Passion for solving complex technical challenges at scale.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Go, Python or Java.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices or cloud‑native development.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
