Remote System Engineer – Contract

About the role

We are seeking a Remote System Engineer on a contract basis to develop and maintain software solutions across multiple technical domains. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while collaborating with a global technology leader.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions across diverse technical domains.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate systems and resolve interoperability challenges.
• Analyze and optimize performance bottlenecks in existing infrastructure.
• Document technical specifications and maintain code repositories.
• Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for scalability and reliability.

Required profile

• Proficiency in at least two programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, JavaScript).
• Experience with software development lifecycle methodologies.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools (Docker).
• Strong problem‑solving skills with a focus on debugging and root‑cause analysis.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while meeting deadlines.
