Remote Tax Consultant – Contract (US Tax Law)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Consultant to join a leading finance organization on a contract basis. This remote position focuses on applying your deep knowledge of U.S. federal and state tax statutes to help train next‑generation AI systems, ensuring high‑quality, real‑world input for financial models.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze U.S. federal and state tax statutes, including conditions, thresholds, and legal exceptions.
• Review and evaluate English translations of complex tax laws for accuracy and clarity.
• Provide structured written feedback through a review UI to guarantee regulatory compliance.
• Apply logical reasoning to identify inconsistencies, ambiguities, and gaps in tax documentation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders to clarify interpretations and resolve discrepancies.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of U.S. tax law, covering statutes, regulations, and court decisions.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficient written communication skills for clear feedback.
• Logical reasoning and critical‑thinking capabilities.
• Experience working with detailed tax documentation.
