Remote Virtual Assistant – Medical Lab Operations

About the role

SMS Medical, a U.S.-based clinical laboratory and mobile diagnostics company, is looking for remote Virtual Assistants to join its daily operations team. You will be the first voice U.S. healthcare clients hear, handling inbound calls and managing lab orders during U.S. business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls from skilled nursing facilities, physician offices, and other providers.
• Enter and manage lab orders in the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
• Dispatch STAT (urgent) orders and coordinate with field staff.
• Follow up on pending lab results and communicate updates to clients.
• Perform general administrative and coordination tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Excellent spoken English with a clear, neutral accent.
• Prior voice/phone experience (call center, customer support, telehealth, BPO, or similar).
• Reliable high‑speed internet, quiet work environment, computer and quality headset.
• Strong data‑entry accuracy and ability to multitask under pressure.
• Willingness to work U.S. business hours from Pakistan.

Required skills

• Familiarity with a Laboratory Information System (LIS) – training will be provided.
