Restaurant General Manager – Full‑time

About the role

Smiley Buns is looking for a dynamic Restaurant General Manager to lead its flagship outlet in Islamabad. This full‑time, on‑site position will drive daily operations, uphold brand standards, and ensure an exceptional guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all restaurant activities, including front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house teams.
• Create and manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak periods.
• Maintain consistent food quality, service standards, cleanliness, and safety compliance.
• Monitor sales performance, control inventory, and manage costs to meet financial targets.
• Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management of restaurant staff.
• Handle guest feedback and implement improvements to boost customer satisfaction.
• Review financial reports, support local marketing initiatives, and drive operational enhancements for growth.

Required profile

• Strong financial and operational management experience, including P&L oversight and budgeting.
• Proven track record of delivering high customer satisfaction in a restaurant or food‑service environment.
• Experience in hiring, onboarding, and developing restaurant teams.
• Previous leadership role in restaurant or food‑service management.
• Willingness to work on‑site with flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and basic inventory control.
• Relevant diploma or degree in hospitality, business, or a related field is preferred.
