Restaurant Operations Manager (Karachi)

About the role

The Hiring Lab is seeking a Restaurant Operations Manager to lead daily operations of a busy restaurant in Karachi. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth service, high customer satisfaction, and efficient staff coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all restaurant functions, including staff management, scheduling, and front‑of‑house service.
• Develop and implement shift plans that optimise workforce productivity and meet business demand.
• Lead, motivate and support a team of approximately 10 employees, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly to maintain strong relationships.
• Monitor staff performance, provide feedback and organise training to improve service quality.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and company policies at all times.
• Manage inventory, order supplies and control costs to maximise profitability.
• Collaborate with senior management to set goals and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or similar hospitality setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven capability to lead and develop a small team.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard office software such as Microsoft Office for scheduling and inventory tracking.
