Restaurant Operations Manager – Lahore

About the role

The Restaurant Operations Manager will lead day‑to‑day floor activities for a busy restaurant at Lake City Mall, ensuring seamless coordination between front‑of‑house and kitchen teams. This hands‑on role focuses on maintaining high service standards, training staff, and delivering a consistent guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily restaurant floor operations and coordinate service staff, supervisors, and kitchen personnel.
• Conduct pre‑shift briefings, allocate floor responsibilities, and monitor staff grooming, uniforms, and professional behavior.
• Train waiters, captains, supervisors, hosts and other front‑of‑house staff on service standards, table setting, and the complete service sequence.
• Ensure staff have thorough knowledge of the menu, dishes, ingredients and restaurant offerings.
• Monitor service speed, food delivery timing, and coordination between kitchen and floor.
• Implement and enforce SOPs, service checklists, opening and closing procedures, and cleanliness standards.
• Handle guest complaints promptly and resolve operational issues.
• Conduct regular performance observations, refresher training, and coaching sessions.
• Maintain discipline, attendance, and proper staff deployment during shifts.
• Track and report shortages or damages of crockery, cutlery, glassware, linen and other service equipment.
• Prepare concise daily operational reports covering service issues, staff performance and corrective actions.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution.
• Strong practical experience in restaurant floor operations, staff training and guest service standards.
• Excellent knowledge of hospitality service procedures and ability to enforce SOPs.
• Proven ability to manage staff, resolve guest issues and maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
