Sales City Lead

About the role

OLX Pakistan is looking for a Sales City Lead to head a team of category specialists. The role focuses on driving revenue growth, content expansion and customer satisfaction within a specific city‑level category, working closely with sales, marketing, product and commercial excellence teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies that drive revenue growth and sales performance.
• Analyse data, market trends and customer insights to inform category strategy and decision‑making.
• Collaborate with the sales team to provide tools, training and insights to optimise field performance.
• Set pricing strategies aligned with margin targets and market dynamics.
• Ensure successful execution of promotional campaigns and trade‑marketing initiatives.
• Lead a team of sales professionals to implement category‑specific plans, including client outreach, onboarding and renewal strategies.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of category plans.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Monitor and optimise category performance metrics such as traffic, conversion, acquisition, renewals and revenue.
• Track team KPIs including sales volume, revenue and margin, and drive continuous improvement of the customer experience.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field.
• 3–5 years of sales leadership experience.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high‑performing sales teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to create actionable strategies.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English and local/regional languages, both written and spoken.
• Prior experience in the online classifieds or online marketplace industry is preferred.
