Sales Engineer – Cybersecurity Pre‑Sales

About the role

Forcepoint is looking for a Sales Engineer to lead technical discussions with customers in Pakistan, understand their security needs and recommend appropriate solutions. You will act as the bridge between the sales team and technical experts, delivering demos, proofs of concept and pre‑sales support.

Key responsibilities

• Lead customer discussions to capture environment, cross‑domain, network security and DLP requirements.
• Deliver product presentations, system demonstrations, white‑boarding sessions and technical Q&A to both technical and business decision‑makers.
• Prepare and execute POCs, demos and pilot deployments in collaboration with partners, resellers and internal teams.
• Develop technical content for RFI/RFP responses, trade studies, cost‑benefit analyses and white papers.
• Represent Forcepoint at industry conferences, trade shows and sales events.

Required profile

• Established customer connections within the Pakistan market and experience with enterprise accounts.
• Proven pre‑sales experience in cybersecurity or network product environments.
• Strong communication skills, able to engage audiences from technical staff to C‑level executives.
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• Web security, SASE, network infrastructure and Next‑Generation Firewall (NGFW) technologies.
• Data Loss Prevention (DLP) project experience.
• Knowledge of networking topology, TCP/IP, proxy infrastructures and firewall/router architectures.
• Linux and Windows systems administration.
