Sales Executive - Travel

About the role

Tripmyjourney is looking for a customer-focused Sales Executive to support its growth in Karachi. The person will engage prospective customers, understand their travel needs, explain relevant offerings and help turn enquiries into bookings while keeping a helpful and professional experience. The role is based in Karachi.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and follow up with prospective customers through appropriate business channels.
• Understand customer requirements and present suitable travel products or services clearly.
• Respond promptly to enquiries, prepare quotations and guide customers through the booking process.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, customer conversations, bookings and follow-up actions.
• Work toward agreed sales targets and contribute to pipeline and performance reviews.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve customer questions and ensure smooth service delivery.
• Keep informed about travel offerings and market trends to improve customer recommendations.

Required profile

• Clear verbal and written communication, confident in customer conversations and follow-ups.
• Ability to identify customer needs, explain options, handle objections and close sales professionally.
• Strong customer service skills and a courteous, solutions-oriented approach.
• Good organization and time management, able to prioritize enquiries and follow-up tasks.
• Target-oriented mindset, resilience and willingness to learn about travel products and services.
• Comfortable coordinating with colleagues and paying attention to detail.

Required skills

• Lead tracking, sales records, quotations and booking-related documentation.
• Basic proficiency with email, spreadsheets and common office or customer-management software.
