Sales Officer - Chemical & Industrial Products

About the role

A client in the chemical and industrial products sector is looking for an energetic, results-driven Sales Executive based in Karachi. The role involves selling chemicals, solvents, flavours and related products to industrial B2B customers and developing new business across several industries.

Key responsibilities

• Sell chemicals, solvents, flavours and related products to industrial B2B customers.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across chemical, food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics and related industries.
• Understand customer requirements and present suitable product solutions.
• Achieve sales targets, KPIs and business development goals.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships and ensure customer retention.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and new product opportunities.
• Follow up on customer payments and support debt recovery and collections.
• Coordinate with internal teams for smooth order and customer management.
• Travel within Karachi and other areas as required for business development.

Required profile

• 3-5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in chemicals, food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics or related industries.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Marketing, Business or a related field.
• Proven ability in business development, relationship management and customer retention.
• Confident, presentable, proactive and target-oriented with a positive attitude; willing to travel as required.

Required skills

• Strong negotiation and bargaining skills.
• Familiarity with MS Office, CRM and sales software.
• Good understanding of industrial products and relevant markets.
