Sales Promotion Specialist - South

About the role

The Sales Promotion Specialist will implement the Cycle Plan agenda and coordinate trade‑marketing activities across the southern region. The role focuses on in‑store execution, asset management and promotional initiatives to drive sustainable business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and communicate monthly Cycle Plan activities to the sales team.
• Drive implementation of the merchandising calendar across the region.
• Manage POP materials (POSM) inventory, ageing and utilization.
• Supervise and develop the zonal merchandising team, tracking performance and building capability.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, documentation and audit requirements.
• Provide market intelligence, activation reports and competitor insights.
• Plan and execute promotional events such as town‑storming, roadshows, conferences and fairs, with pre/post evaluations.
• Lead training initiatives for merchandising teams.
• Manage trade assets including chillers, sampling vans, vending machines, gondolas and display units.
• Track financials and close imprest accounts related to promotional activities.
• Drive continuous improvement using NCE methodologies (e.g., OMP, ICE, Mystery Shopper).
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, WHO Code and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in trade marketing, sales promotion or merchandising.
• Strong understanding of customer dynamics and the selling process.
• Experience managing field teams and coordinating cross‑functional activities.
• Exposure to event execution and promotional campaign management.
