Sales & Recovery Executive - International Courier & Logistics

About the role

IDE Logistics, an Islamabad-headquartered courier and cargo company serving the UK, USA, Canada and Europe, is looking for a Sales & Recovery Executive. The role develops customer relationships, promotes shipping services, maintains an active sales pipeline and supports timely collection of outstanding payments.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach prospective business, e-commerce and individual customers and explain courier and cargo services.
• Follow up leads, prepare quotations, negotiate service terms within company guidelines and work toward sales targets.
• Maintain customer records, sales activity, shipment requests and follow-up schedules accurately.
• Monitor customer balances and invoices, contact clients professionally to arrange payment and recover overdue amounts.
• Coordinate with operations and customer support on documentation, tracking enquiries, delivery updates and service concerns.
• Escalate complex complaints or payment disputes, document agreed actions and share regular updates on sales, collections, feedback and market opportunities with management.

Required profile

• Business-to-business and customer-facing sales, prospecting, lead follow-up and relationship management.
• Confident communication, persuasive service presentations, quotation preparation and professional negotiation.
• Payment follow-up, accounts receivable collection, invoice awareness and tactful handling of overdue balances.
• Strong organization and accurate record keeping of customers, sales, shipments and collections.
• Ability to coordinate with operations and customer support, handle complaints, solve problems and escalate disputes clearly.
• Comfort with sales targets, regular reporting, office productivity tools and spreadsheets.
• Professional conduct, reliability, attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple follow-ups.
