Sales Representative – Automotive, Technology & Chemical

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Representative to drive growth for Maersk’s integrated logistics solutions across the Automotive, Technology and Chemical sectors. You will acquire new customers, expand strategic accounts and deliver end‑to‑end supply‑chain solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, target and onboard new customers within the Automotive, Technology and Chemical verticals.
• Develop and grow logistics opportunities across Ocean, Landside, Lead Logistics, Warehousing, Customs Services and Value‑Added Logistics.
• Understand customers’ supply‑chain strategies and design tailored solutions.
• Lead RFQs, tenders, commercial negotiations, solution design and contract discussions.
• Collaborate with Product, Operations, Customer Experience, Lead Logistics and Area Sales teams to ensure feasibility and implementation.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline in Salesforce, ensuring accurate forecasting.
• Achieve volume, revenue, gross‑profit and growth targets for the assigned verticals.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and freight indices to identify growth opportunities.
• Develop strategic account plans and conduct regular business reviews.

Required profile

• Proven B2B sales experience in logistics, shipping, freight forwarding or supply‑chain management.
• Good understanding of supply‑chain requirements in the Automotive, Technology or Chemical industries.
• Experience working with OEMs, manufacturers, distributors or large industrial customers is a plus.
• Strong consultative selling, negotiation and solution‑selling capabilities.
• Ability to manage strategic accounts and complex commercial opportunities.
