Sales Representative – eBook Self-Publishing Services

About the role

HashTechMeta is seeking a confident and target‑driven Sales Representative to promote its eBook self‑publishing services to aspiring authors in Karachi. You will act as the primary point of contact, guiding authors from initial inquiry through registration and closing the sale.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage aspiring and independent authors through leads and outreach activities.
• Assess client publishing needs and recommend appropriate self‑publishing packages.
• Explain service features, pricing, and benefits clearly and persuasively.
• Maintain a structured sales pipeline, follow up consistently, and record interactions accurately.
• Negotiate terms, handle objections, and close sales to meet monthly targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and accurate client communication.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in sales, business development, or a client‑facing role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus.
• Ability to understand customer needs, conduct consultative conversations, and manage multiple prospects.
• Goal‑oriented mindset with persistence, initiative, and professional conduct.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems for tracking leads and sales activities.
• Competence in using Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet tools for data management.
