Sales Trainer

About the role

The Sales Trainer partners with the Learning & Development team and territory commercial teams to design and deliver learning interventions that build a highly competent, multi‑skilled sales workforce. The role focuses on aligning training programs with current and future business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough Training Needs Analyses (TNA) with on‑ground sales teams to identify capability gaps.
• Develop and execute an annual capability plan in collaboration with line leaders and HR.
• Deliver targeted training using the 70‑20‑10 framework, leveraging technology and modern methodologies for experiential learning.
• Implement core commercial programs and modules at the territory level, monitoring training impact.
• Track and report on the utilization of approved territory training budgets to ensure value addition.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong collaboration skills with sales, HR, and L&D stakeholders.
• Ability to assess training needs and translate them into effective programs.
• Experience in managing training budgets and measuring impact.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the 70‑20‑10 learning framework.
• Familiarity with modern training technologies and experiential learning methods.
