Salesperson – Insurance & Takaful (Karachi)

About the role

EFU Life Assurance Ltd. is seeking a full‑time Salesperson to join its Karachi office. The role focuses on promoting the company’s life, health and Takaful insurance solutions to prospective clients, guiding them through product selection and policy onboarding.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential customers through cold calls, referrals and field visits.
• Conduct needs analysis, present suitable insurance and Takaful products, and prepare proposals.
• Maintain and nurture long‑term client relationships, providing ongoing support throughout the policy lifecycle.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and follow up on leads in a timely manner.
• Record all activities accurately in the company’s CRM system and coordinate with internal teams to ensure prompt service delivery.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on product features and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Strong sales, negotiation and persuasion abilities with a focus on meeting or exceeding targets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust‑based relationships with diverse clients.
• Basic financial literacy and an understanding of insurance or Takaful concepts (training provided).
• Organizational and time‑management skills to handle multiple leads and follow‑ups.
• Integrity, professional ethics and a customer‑centric mindset aligned with EFU Life’s values.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Urdu; additional regional languages are a plus.
• Minimum intermediate/college education; a bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, marketing or related field is beneficial.
