SAP Technical Architect – S/4HANA & BTP (RISE with SAP)

About the role
The SAP Technical Architect will lead the design, development, integration and performance optimisation of SAP S/4HANA and related platforms for National Foods Limited. You will ensure a stable, scalable SAP landscape, drive adoption of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and manage RISE with SAP services and licensing.
Key responsibilities
- Define and govern technical architecture, performance tuning and extensibility for SAP S/4HANA (on‑premise or cloud under RISE with SAP).
- Lead the use of SAP BTP for integrations, workflow automation, analytics and extension development.
- Act as the primary technical contact for RISE with SAP services, aligning contract deliverables with implementation.
- Monitor and manage SAP licensing and subscription usage to ensure cost efficiency and compliance.
- Oversee ABAP on HANA development, CDS Views, OData services, and Fiori/UI5 enhancements.
- Design and manage integrations via SAP CPI, API Management, IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs and Event Mesh.
- Manage BASIS operations including system monitoring, transports, security, patching, backups and upgrade planning.
- Promote innovation through AI/ML, IoT, advanced analytics, DevOps and CI/CD pipelines within the BTP ecosystem.
- Mentor internal technical resources and coordinate with offshore teams and vendors.
Required profile
- Extensive experience designing and delivering SAP S/4HANA solutions in a large enterprise.
- Strong knowledge of RISE with SAP licensing models and subscription management.
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and collaborate with functional leads.
- Excellent understanding of SAP security, data privacy and audit requirements.
