Security Engineer – Penetration Tester

About the role

Jeeny is seeking a Security Engineer specialized in penetration testing to protect its mobile and web platforms, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and internal systems. You will work closely with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities, ensuring the safety of customer, driver, and company data.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on web, mobile, API, cloud, and internal systems.
• Document findings with clear remediation recommendations and track them to closure.
• Perform security reviews of new features, products, and system architectures.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to prioritize and fix security issues.
• Execute threat modeling, risk assessments, and security testing of containers, Kubernetes clusters, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor emerging threats and support incident investigations with technical analysis.
• Develop and maintain testing methodologies, playbooks, and security standards.
• Assist with compliance audits for PDPL, GDPR, ISO 27001 and prepare technical and executive reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity or related field.
• 3‑5+ years of hands‑on experience in penetration testing, application security, or cybersecurity engineering.
• Strong understanding of web, mobile, API, network and cloud security principles.
