About the role
We are a UK‑based accountancy practice looking for a motivated Semi Senior Accountant to join our Lahore office. The role involves handling a range of accounting and tax deliverables for UK clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review accounts and tax returns, managing information requests, client correspondence and working papers.
- Process Self‑Assessment returns with full documentation and final review.
- Perform account reconciliations covering VAT, PAYE, Corporation Tax and CIS.
- Produce statutory accounts using data from online bookkeeping platforms such as Xero, QuickBooks or Sage.
- Post workpapers and final files on the Iris system.
Required profile
- Minimum two years of experience in a UK‑based organisation handling accounts and tax.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Iris accounting software.
- Familiarity with Xero, QuickBooks or Sage bookkeeping solutions.
