Senior Accountant

About the role

Join Jotun as a Senior Accountant and play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant accounting operations. Reporting to the Manager Accounts, you will be based in Lahore and support financial reporting, closing, and budgeting activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and record accounting transactions in line with company policies, procedures, and local regulations.
• Support monthly and annual financial closing, reporting, and budgeting processes.
• Monitor financial activities and internal controls to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Process and manage supplier payments for local and international vendors.
• Coordinate with banks, auditors, and other stakeholders while posting journal entries and maintaining audit compliance.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Accounting & Finance.
• Professional qualifications such as CA (Inter/Finalist), ACCA, or ACMA.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience; articles from a reputable firm are a strong advantage.
• Solid practical understanding of Accounting Standards and IFRS.
