Senior Accountant with Odoo ERP Expertise

About the role

Ahsan & Brothers is hiring a Senior Accountant in Lahore who specializes in financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable and general ledger management. The role has no team management duties but involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams. Experience with Odoo ERP implementation is critical.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate, timely financial reports in line with company policy and regulatory standards.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, keeping all transactions and adjustments properly recorded.
• Prepare and file tax returns in full compliance with tax laws.
• Conduct periodic audits, prepare financial statements and recommend corrective actions.
• Keep detailed records of financial transactions, assist in budgeting and forecasting, and support external audits.
• Use ERP systems such as Odoo (or SAP/Oracle Financials) for financial data processing, and lead or support ERP implementation with internal stakeholders and external consultants.
• Monitor and improve accounting processes within the ERP, troubleshoot accounting issues, and integrate accounting, tax and inventory processes.

Required profile

• At least five years of professional accounting experience.
• Strong expertise in tax preparation and compliance.
• Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle Financials and Odoo; Odoo implementation experience is critical.
• Ability to maintain accurate financial records and follow regulatory requirements.

Required skills

• Financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger management.

• Odoo ERP (preferred), with knowledge of SAP and Oracle Financials.
