Senior Audit Officer

About the role

The Senior Audit Officer will lead the internal audit function across the head office and plant locations, ensuring compliance with regulations and driving improvements in financial, operational and managerial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Implement an organization‑wide internal audit strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
• Lead and manage complex, multi‑discipline audits, overseeing planning, scheduling, execution and reporting.
• Coordinate the Enterprise Risk Management framework, maintain the risk register and present updates to senior leadership.
• Ensure a robust internal control environment is established and maintained at all levels.
• Prepare concise audit reports in English and develop supporting work papers.
• Represent Internal Audit on cross‑functional project teams and management meetings.
• Maintain audit methodology compliance with professional standards and internal manuals.
• Facilitate annual risk assessment and assist in developing the Annual Audit Plan.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Significant experience in internal audit, risk management or related fields.
• Proven ability to lead audit teams and manage large‑scale audit projects.
• Strong analytical and report‑writing skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with senior management.
