Senior Backend Engineer – Full Stack

About the role

PackageX is building a Physical Logistics Execution Platform that processes thousands of scans, photos and workflow events from devices on the shop floor. The Senior Backend Engineer (Full Stack) will design, build and scale the services, APIs and web tools that keep the platform fast, reliable and secure.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services, data models and APIs for the platform, mobile app and web console.
• Build and maintain integrations with customer ERP, WMS, TMS and other third‑party systems.
• Develop event‑driven and asynchronous processing pipelines using queues, workers and scheduled jobs.
• Create web features end‑to‑end, from API to UI, using React and Svelte.
• Own production services: deployment, monitoring, alerting, on‑call support and incident resolution.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience building and operating production backend services.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js/TypeScript, Python or Go.
• Deep knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL), schema design, indexing and query optimization.
• Experience with queues and async processing (e.g., SQS, RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Hands‑on experience with AWS or GCP, Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
