Senior Bid Manager - Proposal Writing and Team Leadership

About the role

WiseBiz Solutions is recruiting a Senior Bid Manager to lead and oversee the Pakistan bid centre in Islamabad. This full-time, office-based role owns the quality of all tender responses submitted for UK security and facilities management contracts. The Bid Manager writes compelling narratives and method statements, manages a team of five and works closely with the UK Managing Director to turn tender specifications into winning themes and compliant, timely submissions aligned with UK business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Convert tender specifications into a response plan, develop win themes and set a clear schedule.
• Craft method statements and narrative responses tailored to evaluation criteria.
• Lead a team of five, including a Bid Analyst and Bid Coordinator, ensuring bids are error-free, compliant and on time.
• Maintain and expand a centralised library of approved answers, case studies and evidence.
• Use AI tools to draft initial proposals and verify facts against tender requirements.
• Coordinate daily with UK senior management and handle submissions during UK working hours with minimal supervision.
• Manage the review and approval of tender responses before submission and implement quality assurance.
• Train and mentor team members and support recruitment and training of the bid centre team.
• Monitor procurement requirements and best practices in security, cleaning and facilities services.

Required profile

• At least three years of experience in proposal and bid writing for international clients.
• Strong written English and proven team management abilities.
• Relevant degree; ability to build a library of approved case studies and evidence.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with little supervision.
• APMP Foundation certification is a plus.
