About the role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to design and build scalable data pipelines and platforms, working closely with clients and cross‑functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, SQL, Spark/PySpark and Airflow.
- Build batch and real‑time data pipelines and integrate data from APIs, databases, event streams and external systems.
- Design and optimise data warehouses, data lakes and lakehouse architectures.
- Implement data quality, validation, monitoring and governance processes.
- Optimise SQL queries, processing performance, reliability and cloud costs.
- Collaborate with clients, Product, Data Science and Engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Take ownership of projects from requirements through production and resolve complex production issues.
Required profile
- 4+ years of professional Data Engineering experience.
- Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Proactive ownership, problem‑solving and ability to close projects.
