Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build and maintain the infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines that power our software delivery. The role focuses on automation, scalability and reliability, working closely with development and QA teams in an on‑site environment in Islamabad.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI or GitHub Actions.
• Architect, provision and optimise cloud environments on AWS, Azure or GCP, ensuring performance, cost‑efficiency and security.
• Develop infrastructure as code with Terraform, CloudFormation or Pulumi.
• Manage containerised workloads with Docker and orchestrate them using Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE) or ECS.
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack or Datadog.
• Enforce security best practices, including secrets management, access control and patch management.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve system resilience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on experience in DevOps, Site Reliability or Infrastructure engineering.
• Strong background with Linux/Unix systems and scripting (Bash, Python or PowerShell).
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
