Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Edge is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own the development, deployment, monitoring, scalability, security, and reliability of its cloud infrastructure and applications. You will collaborate with software engineering, QA, IT, and product teams to design and maintain scalable cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, manage, and optimize AWS infrastructure across development, staging, and production environments.
• Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Manage containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes (Amazon EKS), including deployment strategies and scaling.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability using CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, or similar tools.
• Ensure cloud security best practices, manage IAM roles, policies, and secrets.
• Lead incident response, root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvement of system reliability.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or related roles.
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS services and production environments.
• Proven ability to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Linux systems, Bash/Python scripting, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and cloud cost optimization.
