Senior Electrical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design and deliver electrical power architecture for data‑center projects. The role involves creating detailed designs from medium‑voltage intake down to rack‑level distribution, ensuring compliance with international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop MV intake to rack‑level power distribution systems and produce Single Line Diagrams, load schedules, and design documentation.
• Design and coordinate transformer systems, generator plants, UPS systems, and LV distribution networks.
• Perform UPS sizing, cable sizing, voltage drop calculations, short‑circuit analysis, and protection coordination studies.
• Design earthing/grounding and lightning protection systems according to IEC, NFPA 70, SBC and other standards.
• Create and review BIM‑based electrical models using Revit and coordinate with structural, mechanical, and architectural teams.
• Support concept design, tender‑stage engineering, detailed design development, and participate in technical reviews and value‑engineering exercises.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and BIM modelers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 10‑13 years of experience in MV and LV power systems, preferably in data‑center environments.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with good spoken English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ETAP or equivalent power analysis software.
• Experience with UPS systems, generator plants, and cable sizing.
• Knowledge of IEC, NFPA 70, and other international electrical standards.
• Expertise in voltage drop calculations, short‑circuit analysis, and protection coordination.
• Design of earthing/grounding and lightning protection systems.
• BIM‑based modeling using Revit and coordination platforms.
