Senior Executive, Global Product Development

About the role

The Senior Executive, Global Product Development will lead new product development initiatives across Avery Dennison’s global customer base. The role ensures alignment with UK, EU and US processes, delivering accurate, timely and cost‑effective product launches while supporting sales and manufacturing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide complete and consistent information flow for new items and global product changes from CPD/GSPD/Sales to production, prepress and customer service.
• Act as account owner with full product line knowledge for assigned customers.
• Ensure timely development and deployment of new items using cost‑effective production methods for local supply.
• Deliver accurate quotations to CPD/GSPD/Sales and coordinate sample, proof and data integrity testing.
• Initiate product re‑engineering to stay ahead of competition and drive speed improvements through the ELS approach.
• Coordinate material development with local purchasing and support global and local sales strategies.
• Maintain housekeeping of sample storage, filing and 5S standards.
• Train and assist CS, sales, operations and vendors as required.
• Lead departmental projects and execute regional/global initiatives.
