Senior Executive - Market Research

About the role

NIQ is the team that partners with clients to combine data, science and people's expertise to measure and improve their markets. As a Senior Executive you will run projects with limited supervision, compiling, analysing and interpreting sales data, writing client reports and building presentations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide insights and actionable recommendations through business issue analysis to drive client satisfaction
• Build a strategic understanding of industry trends, competition and opportunities
• Work with the Client Business Partner to design analyses that best answer client questions, with support from a Senior team member
• Manage internal stakeholders such as the Global Report Center Team, BI and Customer Support
• Help achieve agreed revenue and client satisfaction targets and introduce additional services where appropriate
• Drive Net Promoter Score and client satisfaction, and collaborate across markets

Required profile

• University degree in Marketing, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field; postgraduate preferred
• 2-3 years of experience in market research
• Self-directed, proactive and able to work under tight deadlines or in an agile environment
• Attention to detail and strong client service skills
• Fluent in spoken and written English

Required skills

• Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI or Tableau (an advantage)
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Communication, visualization and storytelling skills
• Understanding of growth and brand strategy and market dynamics
