Senior Field Service Engineer

About the role

Briogene (Private) Limited, a healthcare solutions provider backed by the Getz Group and partnered with QIAGEN, is hiring a Senior Field Service Engineer for a full-time, on-site position in Peshawar. The engineer installs, commissions and services medical diagnostic equipment at customer sites, ensuring reliable and safe operation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and corrective maintenance on medical diagnostic equipment
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues, providing support on-site and remotely
• Document service activities and maintain service records
• Ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards
• Train end users on equipment operation and build relationships with healthcare professionals
• Collaborate with internal teams to escalate complex issues and support continuous improvement of service processes

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics or a related technical field
• Hands-on experience servicing medical or laboratory equipment, preferably in diagnostics or similar healthcare settings
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics and service documentation
• Willingness to travel within the region and work flexibly for urgent service needs
• Good written and verbal communication in English and local languages; knowledge of medical device safety and regulatory requirements is an advantage
