About the role
Volga Partners is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support its global operations. The role involves managing accounting activities, validating invoices, and delivering financial analysis across multiple business units and client accounts. Candidates must be comfortable working evening and night schedules aligned with international time zones.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day accounting and finance operations for multiple client accounts.
- Prepare and review reconciliations, financial schedules, and management reports.
- Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Review, validate, and approve invoices, verifying billing details, payment terms, and supporting documentation.
- Investigate invoice discrepancies and coordinate with internal stakeholders for resolution.
- Analyze financial data and operational metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Prepare recurring and ad‑hoc financial reports for leadership and operational teams.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Perform bank, transaction, and account reconciliations and support audit preparation.
Required profile
- Experienced finance professional with a strong operational finance background.
- Detail‑oriented and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Comfortable with evening/night work schedules to align with international business operations.
- Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with stakeholders across the organization.
