Senior Full Stack Engineer – React Native Specialist

About the role

Lumida is seeking a senior full‑stack engineer with deep React Native expertise to lead the mobile edge of its AI‑native wealth advisory platform. The role blends mobile performance engineering with backend design to deliver a seamless, high‑performance experience for modern investors.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and evolve the React Native ecosystem, implementing offline‑first patterns, state persistence and real‑time synchronization.
• Design and optimise Python backend services (FastAPI/Django) to provide mobile‑friendly APIs with minimal payloads and WebSocket support.
• Own performance engineering, identifying render bottlenecks, memory leaks and bridge traffic to maintain 60 FPS animations.
• Establish code governance through strict linting, TypeScript standards and automated testing (Detox/Jest).
• Integrate agentic AI features into mobile interfaces, ensuring responsive, data‑driven interactions.
• Oversee native module development in Swift or Kotlin when JavaScript performance limits are reached.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Delivered at least one high‑traffic React Native app from inception to production on iOS/Android.
• Mobile‑first mindset focused on battery life, background processing and atomic state updates.
• Strong emphasis on reliability, type safety and maintainable code.
