Senior Infrastructure Engineer I

About the role

Beyond ONE is seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to own the reliability, performance, and security of its on‑premise data centre and network. You will work with Cisco Nexus 9000 switching, FortiGate firewalls, Dell VxRail hyper‑converged infrastructure and Microsoft workloads, driving day‑to‑day operations, project delivery and lifecycle management.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain Cisco Nexus 9K (NX‑OS) VLANs, VPC, vPC peer‑link, HSRP/VRRP, QoS, ACLs and EVPN/VXLAN.
• Manage routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), inter‑connects to firewalls, load balancers, ISPs and branch devices, including capacity planning and redundancy testing.
• Monitor network health using NetFlow/sFlow, SNMP, syslog and tools such as SolarWinds or PRTG; perform root‑cause analysis for latency or packet loss.
• Configure and maintain FortiGate firewalls (e.g., 601E, 201E), policy packages, NAT, zones, VDOMs, IPSec/SSL VPN, UTM features and high‑availability.
• Use FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer for centralized policy management, audits and traffic analytics.
• Operate Dell VxRail clusters on vSphere, handle lifecycle upgrades and ensure compute, storage and virtualization services meet performance targets.
• Coordinate vulnerability remediation, firmware upgrades and security hardening across network and compute layers.

Required profile

• Several years of hands‑on experience with enterprise data‑centre networking and security.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco Nexus 9000 series and NX‑OS configuration.
• Proven expertise with Fortinet firewalls and related management platforms.
• Experience managing Dell VxRail or similar hyper‑converged infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of routing, switching, VLAN design and network monitoring.
