Senior Interior Design Engineer (Remote – Pakistan)

About the role

Vankea is seeking a Senior Interior Design Engineer to join its remote team in Pakistan. The role blends interior design, product development, mechanical engineering, and electrical system planning to create premium camper‑van conversion solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design innovative camper‑van interiors, cabinetry, furniture, and storage systems that balance aesthetics and functionality.
• Develop detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings ready for production.
• Create Bills of Materials (BOMs) and comprehensive technical documentation.
• Integrate 12 V electrical systems, including batteries, solar panels, inverters, and charging solutions, within interior layouts.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, sales, and product development teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Participate in design reviews, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in interior design engineering and product development for vehicle interiors.
• Strong spatial awareness and ability to translate concepts into manufacturable designs.
• Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles, material selection, and construction methods.
• Familiarity with 12 V electrical systems used in camper‑van conversions.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in at least one professional CAD tool (e.g., Fusion 360, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Sheper3d).
• Ability to produce detailed technical drawings and manufacturing documentation.
• Experience creating BOMs and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of electrical system integration for mobile applications.
