Senior International Trade Execution Executive

About the role

Louis Dreyfus Company is seeking a Senior Executive to manage end‑to‑end international trade operations for agricultural commodities. You will ensure smooth import and export flows, from order placement through customs clearance to final delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Execute import/export transactions, handling documentation and customs clearance in line with international trade regulations.
• Troubleshoot shipment issues for containerized and bulk cargo by coordinating with suppliers, buyers, freight forwarders, port authorities and clearing agents.
• Analyze product classification, assign correct HS codes, and verify valuation and origin declarations.
• Prepare and review trade documents according to Incoterms, commercial terms and country‑specific regulations.
• Validate service provider invoices, close accruals timely, and review contracts for scope, expiry and compliance.
• Generate regular operational reports (daily to yearly) and support stock reconciliation.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business, Finance or Supply Chain Management.
• 1‑3 years of experience in international trade execution, preferably with agri‑commodities such as cotton, wheat, soy, corn, pulses, etc.
