Senior IT Audit & Compliance Officer

About the role

The Senior Officer – IT Audit & Compliance coordinates audit activities, monitors compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, and ensures timely closure of audit observations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate IT-related internal, external and regulatory audit activities.
• Monitor IT audit observations and follow up on corrective actions.
• Support assessments of IT controls, risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare IT audit reports, compliance updates, MIS reports and dashboards.
• Maintain IT audit documentation, evidence and compliance records.
• Coordinate with IT teams and relevant stakeholders to address audit findings.
• Support IT governance assessments, policy reviews and compliance improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in IT audit, compliance, governance or risk management.
• Knowledge of IT controls, risk assessment, regulatory compliance and audit procedures.
• Experience in audit documentation, evidence management, MIS reporting and dashboard preparation.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams and other stakeholders.
