Senior Learning & Capability Development Manager

About the role

National Foods Limited is seeking a senior professional to lead the design, development and implementation of a comprehensive learning and career development strategy that aligns with its integrated talent management framework. The role will shape future‑ready capabilities and create clear growth pathways for employees across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute an L&D strategy that supports the company’s long‑term capability and sustainability goals.
• Identify future skill requirements and prioritize learning initiatives that embed a culture of continuous improvement.
• Develop career‑path frameworks, including specialised programmes for managers, functional trainees and interns.
• Oversee the full training cycle – needs analysis, design, delivery of cost‑effective programmes, and measurement of ROI.
• Introduce innovative learning methods such as the 70:20:10 model, blended solutions and self‑directed platforms.
• Collaborate with the Employee Experience team to leverage digital HR tools for wider learning access.
• Manage the annual training budget, monitor spend versus plan and report variances.
• Select and supervise third‑party providers, ensuring compliance with quality and procurement standards.
• Partner with HR Business Partners and line managers to integrate learning interventions with performance and business challenges.
