Senior Lecturer – Public Policy

About the role

Riphah International University seeks a Senior Lecturer in Public Policy to join its Islamabad campus. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, curriculum development and research, supporting the university’s mission of academic excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate lectures and seminars on public policy, governance and related subjects.
• Design, update and improve course curricula in line with current research and policy trends.
• Conduct original research, publish in HEC‑recognised journals and enhance the university’s scholarly profile.
• Supervise student research projects, theses and dissertations, providing methodological guidance.
• Assess assignments, examinations and presentations, ensuring rigorous academic standards.
• Participate in departmental meetings, academic planning and university committees.
• Engage in community outreach and knowledge‑dissemination activities related to public policy.

Required profile

• MPhil (or equivalent) in International Relations, Political Science, Public Policy, Governance or a related discipline from an HEC‑recognised institution.
• Minimum two years of relevant academic or research experience.
• At least three publications in HEC‑recognised journals.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to students.
