About the role
The Senior Manager – Data Engineer will design and maintain real‑time and batch data pipelines, define data strategy and architecture, and lead improvements across the bank’s data engineering solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage data pipelines on both on‑premises and cloud data lakes, estimating effort and delivering solutions.
- Oversee change release management, resource allocation, and delivery of critical applications influencing management decisions, regulatory and operational reporting.
Required profile
- Strong knowledge of core banking, payment, digital journey, marketing, risk and compliance systems across UAE, Egypt, Pakistan and other IBG regions.
- Experience working with Enterprise Data Lake, Azure Data Lake, Business Intelligence, Advanced Analytics and real‑time streaming platforms.
