Senior Manager – Global Compliance & Reporting

About the role

EY is looking for a Senior Manager to lead its Global Compliance & Reporting (GCR) practice in Lahore. You will head complex tax engagements, manage client relationships and ensure high‑quality delivery of compliance and reporting services across domestic and international tax regimes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise multi‑disciplinary teams on tax compliance and reporting engagements.
• Manage day‑to‑day client interactions, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of deliverables.
• Develop and implement standardized processes, identify risks, and drive performance‑improvement solutions.
• Maintain strong internal and external relationships, ensuring services meet EY’s Tax Quality guidelines.
• Coach and mentor junior staff, fostering a positive learning culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, taxation or a related field.
• Advanced degree (MBA, MSc) or professional qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, CTA, ADIT) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in domestic and international tax rules, tax accounting and tax auditing, preferably within a large professional services firm.
• Proven managerial and project‑management experience.
• Experience working with multinational clients in a multicultural environment.

• Ability to analyse large data sets and interpret complex tax legislation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
