Senior Manager - Global Partnerships

About the role

The Senior Manager Global Partnerships oversees the management and stewardship of grants and partnerships secured from foundations and high net worth individuals. The role ensures effective partner engagement, compliance with grant requirements and internal monitoring and evaluation so that funded initiatives are implemented and reported successfully. It also nurtures long-term relationships and works closely with fundraising, programs and communications teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage relationships with global donors, foundations, corporations and multilateral agencies
• Lead proposal writing, budgeting and submission for funding opportunities, and monitor grant compliance, reporting and deliverables
• Align partnership strategies with organizational goals and expansion priorities
• Collaborate with fundraising, programs and communications teams to design projects and campaigns
• Track partnership performance and program progress, measure impact and update donors regularly
• Stay informed on international trends, funding landscapes and partnership opportunities
• Explore and apply AI tools and digital solutions to improve efficiency in partnership management, reporting, data analysis and decision-making

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in partnership or grant management, fundraising or international development
• Proven track record of managing high-value global partnerships or grants
• Strong communication, negotiation, leadership and relationship-building skills with major donors
• Project management and analytical skills, with attention to detail and ability to plan and prioritize projects
• Ability to work across cultures, time zones and diverse stakeholder groups
• Education: Master's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, International Relations, Development Studies or a related field
