About the role
As a Senior Manager, People Partner at foodpanda, you will act as a strategic HR leader supporting the growth and transformation of our operations in Pakistan. Reporting to the Head of People, you will partner with senior leaders to shape workforce strategy, drive performance, and foster an engaging culture.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute quarterly workforce plans, conduct org‑design reviews and support role optimisation, re‑orgs and transitions.
- Maintain and reduce SG&A costs while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Serve as the primary HR contact for managers and employees, handling grievances, promotions, performance issues and employee relations.
- Lead goal‑setting, calibration, performance reviews, PIP processes and identify high‑potential talent and succession needs.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and Rewards to manage hiring approvals, internal moves, salary reviews, parity checks and pay‑for‑performance structures.
- Leverage Peakon data to drive engagement actions, plan recognition programs and diversity initiatives.
- Own end‑to‑end HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, internal changes and ensure accurate HRIS data in Workday.
- Contribute to organisation‑wide projects such as policy updates, value rollouts and talent strategy improvements.
Required profile
- Minimum 8‑10 years of progressive HR experience, including strategic partnering and workforce planning.
- Proven track record of managing cost structures (SG&A) and leading organisational redesign.
- Strong stakeholder management and employee‑relations expertise.
- Experience in performance management, talent development and succession planning.
- Hands‑on experience with compensation, rewards and pay‑for‑performance models.
- Ability to translate engagement data into actionable initiatives.
- Excellent communication and coaching skills for senior leaders and managers.
