Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Electromechanical Systems

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the development of electromechanical products. The role combines advanced mechanical design with integration of electrical components, ensuring high‑performance, reliable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead product design and development of mechanical systems, integrating electrical components.
• Perform advanced simulations (CFD, structural, thermal) to validate and optimise performance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (electrical, manufacturing, quality) for seamless integration.
• Prepare detailed engineering documentation, including CAD models, drawings, and technical reports.
• Drive design reviews, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor junior engineers and share technical knowledge within the team.

Required profile

• BE/MS in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in mechanical product design and development.
• Strong problem‑solving ability, leadership, and effective communication skills.
• Experience in multidisciplinary product development and familiarity with industry standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD tools such as SolidWorks or CATIA.
• Hands‑on experience with CFD, FEA, and thermal analysis software (ANSYS, COMSOL).
• Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and design for reliability.
