Senior Mobile Engineer

About the role

Moniepoint, a fast‑growing fintech platform in Africa, is looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer to design and build high‑performance cross‑platform applications. The role is fully remote and focuses on delivering scalable mobile solutions for personal and business banking services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop sophisticated, scalable mobile apps using Flutter.
• Build custom Flutter packages that integrate native Android (Kotlin) and iOS functionalities.
• Translate UI/UX designs from Figma into high‑quality responsive code.
• Write efficient data queries and implement MVC/MVVM architectural patterns.
• Maintain code quality with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and thorough documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers, QA specialists, and security teams to deliver stable releases.

Required profile

• 5+ years of combined mobile development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Portfolio of independently delivered projects.

Required skills

• Flutter and Dart.
• Native Android development with Kotlin.
• iOS development.
• Firebase (Cloud Firestore, Push Notifications, Cloud Functions, Analytics).
• Figma for design hand‑off.
• Git for version control.
• Angular, Bootstrap, JavaScript (nice to have).
