Senior Network Security Engineer

About the role

Systems Limited is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer to lead the administration, monitoring and optimisation of its banking IT security infrastructure. The role ensures security controls are highly available, effective and aligned with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and optimise enterprise security infrastructure, including firewalls, IPS, WAF and related services.
• Maintain maximum uptime of security controls while meeting ITSM service level agreements.
• Proactively monitor security devices to detect threats and ensure service continuity.
• Manage security incidents, conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Lead security projects, technology deployments, upgrades and infrastructure enhancements.
• Support secure migrations of networks, platforms and devices across on‑premise and cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures and security standards.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, audit requirements and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enable secure business operations.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in information security operations and network security.
• Strong expertise in firewall administration, threat prevention and access control technologies.
• Hands‑on experience with security monitoring, incident response and problem management.
• Knowledge of business continuity, disaster recovery and security governance.
• Familiarity with audit, risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and technical documentation skills.
